AFA Going After Johnson & Johnson (J&J), And The AFA Says The Truth Is A Lie.

It seems that the AFA doesn't WANT to do their research on the Bible and what it REALLY says about homosexuality (it is NOT a sin, as they have tried to say about it for several years now). Proof of this is apparent in a recent mail-out by the AFA concerning J&J's sponosorship of a TNT (Turner Network Television) program called Door To Door. Here is their words on the issue:

Johnson & Johnson Presents God As Putting His Stamp Of Approval On The Homosexual Lifestyle

Recently Johnson & Johnson sponsored a program on TNT titled Door to Door. It was promoted as a story about a man who had Cerebral Palsy and his struggles. Here is what one member wrote: Door to Door, sponsored by Johnson and Johnson, made a blatant endorsement of the homosexual lifestyle in this program. They staged this endorsement by showing a pair of men kissing. One of the men, a homosexual, "proved" that homosexuality isn't wrong by saying "God doesn't make mistakes," meaning that God made them this way. That is a teaching the homosexuals have been trying to convince the public of for some time now.

Of course, if God made them homosexual, that contradicts the clear teachings of the Bible about homosexual activity being a sin and makes the Bible to be a lie.

Email Johnson and Johnson and ask them why they elected to present the homosexual lifestyle as having the blessings of God and to endorse a program which presents the Bible as a lie. Ask Johnson & Johnson for assurance that they will not sponsor this kind of program in the future.

Johnson & Johnson is one of the world's largest health care product makers. The company operates in three sectors: consumer products (Tylenol and Motrin analgesics, Reach toothbrushes, Band-Aid bandages); medical devices and diagnostics (ACUVUE contact lenses, surgical instruments, joint replacements); and pharmaceuticals (anemia drug Procrit, epilepsy medication Topamax, and Ortho-Novum oral contraceptives).

After sending your email to Johnson & Johnson, be sure to forward this on to friends and family and ask them to join.

But this gets even BETTER. Look what another mail out had to say about this issue:

Dear One Million Dads.com member,

Dear OneMillionDads.Com,

The following is an e-mail I received from what I assume is someone in Johnson and Johnson after I sent in the e-mail for today's action alert. Obviously there IS an agenda at work here.

Bruce E. Knight,

I seem to be having the utmost difficult time understanding your email that was forwarded to a co-worker of mine and passed on throughout the company that I work for. I happened to look into what OneMillionDads.com for some research and I applaud your efforts on trying to change what is on television, since there is so much crime and sexuality. However, television is also a source of education and I, for one can say, that the use of television is also a means of ending bigotry and prejudice. Television is an excellent source of showing reality to viewers that can now have the opportunity to understand how "different" lifestyles, for instance, or poverty, or even sexuality. Education is our only tool to end obstructive hatred and ignorant ways of thinking. Education, sir, should have helped you out!

I pity your children that have to be brought up in a world of thinking God doesn't approve of certain lifestyles. To be brought up in judging people, not for their character, but for their choice of sexuality. Even if you claim that you don't, your
children will already have the mentality that they are WRONG for living the way they do. You claim that William C. Weldon "considers" that the Bible to be a dishonest book, however, I will be more than happy to discuss the situation with you.

Let's talk the Bible, shall we? Considered to be the most controversial and proven contradicting book ever. Why? Religion is Belief in and reverence for a supernatural power or powers regarded as creator and governor of the universe and the bible is
The sacred book of Christianity, a collection of ancient writings including the books of both the Old Testament and the New Testament . Now I have read and studied the bible, having attended catholic schools all my life including now in college!
According to "your" Bible, God does not approve of homosexuality and looks down upon them. Well in my bible, God tells us not to judge one and another and love our neighbor. And personally, I don't believe that you are following your little Christian rule book, now are you?

The Bible has been translated a numerous times by different people and to get down to it, the Catholic Bible that we now follow is that of King James, an English King who changed the faith in order to get his marriage divorced! The Bible also tells us of a different God that we seem to look at so loving and caring and forgiving, but sir if this is what you believe then I strongly suggest that you reread the First Testament and read of how GOD had many people killed because he wanted different tribes to prove their loyalty and love for him. The GOD that caused 200 people to die because they saw Moses' face glowing after he returned from the mountain. Your God allows poverty in our world when the Pope John Paul lives in the Vatican where there is GOLD trimming and drinks out of GOLD cups and we believe that he is a great man while others cry to be fed a bowl of rice. If you can't justify any of these things, sir, then I strongly suggest that you take a different look at your religion and your GOD!

I have faith in God and without question he has done many good things for me. He has blessed me with many friends and a loving family and has given me the opportunity to educate myself in a well established and rewarding college. I plan to teach in another year sir, and I know that their will be students in my classroom that will be bigots and full of hatred or even confusion. You sir, are a father who has the chance to raise a child in a world that can have less racism. Its all in your
hands. The future is our children, but the children are a reflection of those who raise them and it sickens my stomach to think that children of our future will be as narrow-minded as you.

Sincerely,
your child's future teacher!!
Natalie

It sickens me even more than it does for the employee that wrote the response, concering the fact that we have been proven that homosexuality is NOT, and I repeat, NOT a sin (read the Website Whosoever for more information on this). However, the reason that the AFA and other "pro-family groups" are using the Bible for this attack on homosexuality is the same reason the Bible was used to attack African-Americans and women in the past when they were fighting for rights and protection from discrimination. They do not want what they see as not right to be thought of as anything else but, and they will stop at nothing, including using the Bible as a weapon to attack it, to make you believe that. Thank God that there are other voices that opposes them, or they would be too quick to believe them.

And thank God that you are just a few of the reasons that this voice even exsists. We must thell J&J that they are right in their judgement, and the AFA only seeks to make us into bigots and hate homosexuals, regardless of what they say they want us to think. Send the e-mail below. You can send the letter as is, edit it, or completly rewrite it. Be sure to add your own subject line. But send it today, right now, in fact, for the sake of our children and America, and to tell the AFA and the other "pro-family" groups that you will not stand for their teachings of hatred and bigotry.

Send the e-mail to Johnson & Johnson RIGHT NOW!!
